Renee is the proud owner of Creations Salon and Body based in her hometown, where she’s created a warm, welcoming atmosphere for her clients and community. “Having my salon in the same community where I live has instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and a desire to make a positive impact,” Renee shares. “When you enter my salon, you’ll feel a sense of family and 'One Love.'"

Thirteen years ago, Renee made the switch to Organic Colour Systems after facing health issues caused by traditional hair products. “OCS changed my life,” she says. “I was at a difficult crossroads when my doctor advised me to either leave my career or find a healthier option. OCS allowed me to transform my salon into what it is today, letting me continue doing what I love.”

Renee specialises in colour, focusing on beautiful grey coverage as well as guiding clients through the increasingly popular transition to their natural grey or silver. Since the pandemic, more clients have embraced this journey, and Renee is passionate about helping them feel confident and radiant.

Joining Renee in the salon is her nine-month-old dog, Lilla, who is in training to become a certified therapy dog. For Renee, whose clients often share their life stories with her, having Lilla at the salon brings a soothing, therapeutic presence. Lilla accompanies Renee three days a week, spending five hours each day charming clients and brightening everyone’s day.

Outside the salon, Renee enjoys a full life with her husband Dan and their two sons, Jake and Ty. She is an avid reader—Harry Potter being her all-time favourite—and loves to travel and savour good food with family.
