With over 22 years of experience, Alyssa is a master stylist and founder of The Organic Salon Denver, which she established in 2016. With a background in environmental studies, Alyssa has built a salon where sustainability is paramount, and her dedication to eco-conscious practices is a core principle of her business.

Alyssa has worked with Organic Colour Systems (OCS) for over 12 years and has specialised in blonding throughout her career. In recent years, she has expanded her skills, developing a passion for razor cutting and curly cuts. She brings this skillset to her role as an OCS mentor, where she has led countless workshops, sharing her expertise and knowledge with fellow stylists.

At The Organic Salon Denver, Alyssa has created an welcoming, inclusive and safe space for the LGBTQ+ community, offering gender-affirming services and fostering a true sense of community within the salon. "A mutual exchange of energy between client and artist is key, as well as a collaborative culture for my artists to flourish," she explains.

Leading with empathy and integrity, Alyssa champions fair wages, supports social justice causes, and prioritises the well-being of her team. "For me, the people come first," she says. "I lead my team through support and emotional intelligence to ensure they find balance in their work and life."
